"So what software are you passionate about? And how do you support it?"
As for me, I think my zeal is hovering around Opus. When I get around to doing a followup to HPR#1103 I'll probably spend a lot of time raving about it (and talking about how to use it).

One of these days I need to do something with the opuscast.com domain while I'm at it...

Kevin,
Thanks for this. excellent and well reasoned. The vitriol unleashed by Bryan against RMS and Free Software obscured what RMS was actually saying, and your post cuts through the mud-slinging quite effectively and looks at the actual core of the argument.. It is especially important now that Jono Bacon/Ubuntu has launched a similar attack when RMS called a spade a spade about Ubuntu leaking private data to amazon by default, and Jono was of course interviewed by Bryan to renew the personal attacks on Stallman without again addressing what is actually being said and is at stake.

Howdy, this is Richard Johnson by the way, and I was wondering if we have ever met, becuase you said "barely" and that we weren't bosom buddies. I would like to be a buddy for sure :) As for your article here, I absolutely agree with you, and you are right, it is still a bit early in the project timelord stuff, but hopefully we will all be able to come together after the holidays and start working on the project a bit deeper. I have met so many people in the Michigan LoCo and LUGs, so if we have met, I do apologize for not remembering, and hopefully it was a sober moment if and when we did meet :)

If you are on IRC, please feel free to ping me, or email me directly, nixternal ubuntu com. Thanks!
